Thursday Stuff

Nathan started 4 year old preschool at the Methodist Church this past Tuesday. I took this picture before we left. He had a good week and managed to stay in the green. He was excited to start back and I'm glad to get him into the routine of school, again.

Little Miss AnnaBelle loves the one on one time we have in the mornings now. She is starting to really try and form sentences and goes into an elaborate conglomeration of baby talk where you can make out one or two words, but boy does she look at you like you know what she's saying. It's priceless to watch her point at something and explain it to me in a mouthful of garble. I love this age.

The bruise under her eye is from her brother. As you know he is rougher than a gourd and ran by her with an extended elbow. She hollered for a minute and ran to me for a quick hug and then she was off again.

We found quail eggs in the brush pile. We have been calling to a quail for the past week and have been hearing it respond fairly close. We didn't realize how close until we were down in the garden and Ellie scared up a quail from the brush pile and then stood on point. We walked over and found the eggs. There must be around 12.

These flew over while we were playing basketball . They were headed to the pond across the field.
