February Stuff
We've managed to miss every snowstorm predicted for the last few weeks. The air is so dry that i'm shocking everyone so i don't see how it could ever snow anyway. These two have been keeping me extremely busy, from wiping butts to picking up toys and washing tons of clothes, a Mother's work is never done.....But i have managed the time to read some books. I am currently enjoying "Lincoln: A Life of Purpose and Power" by Richard Carwardine. It describes in detail the early political life of young Abe and extends to the White House years. So far it is a good read.
George the kids and I are planning to go to a Civil War artifact exhibit at the Showplace in Richmond this weekend. It will be nice to get out together for a day!
Starting to get an idea of what i want to plant in the garden this spring. Already have a layout in my head as to where i want everything to go. I have started tomato seedlings from a kit i bought online last year that allows you to grow tomatoes inside during the winter. They hang from foiled colored bags and work on a hydroponic type of growing system. It will be cool if we have tomatoes in April!
