So Long to May

My birthday was a special one spent at home with the family unit. Nathan picked out the cake theme and George said he was pretty upset with the cake decorator because they couldn't put a Yankee emblem on it. I received a beautiful bracelet from the kiddies with birthstone beads. It's a Bauble lulu and if you have never heard of it, google it. Their bracelets and beads are gorgeous and well within anyone's price range.
My little man is growing up so quickly and I cannot believe kindergarten starts in the fall!

Our hummingbirds have returned, and they have brough their friends. We have 4 feeders up and they constantly need filling at least twice a day. We even have a yellow one, which I hear is quite rare.

This is my little man graduating from preschool last Tuesday night. I am so glad he was able to experience a christian preschool and I look forward to AnnaBelle attending in the fall of 2011. His teacher this past year has fully prepared him for kindergarten and we were stoked when we got the approval for him to attend the neighboring county's school system.

The garden is plucking along. We put the poles up today for the butterbeans and the cucumbers and have been enjoying squash this past week. Nathan has eaten his share of the spinach and George fixed a wonderful salad with it the other night. Nathan and I are hoping to camp out Monday night if the weather agrees. It's been off and on showers for most of the week which is wonderful for the garden but not for camping out! I'm hoping we'll get a respite for a few days and we can get outside and have fun under the stars!
