Autumn in My Heart

Oh boy! Shoe Carnival was having a sale on Converse hi-tops last week and I just couldn't resist.
I told Nathan on the way home from school that I had bought him a pair and he couldn't wait to put them on. In fact he wore them that evening with his pajamas. I think he would have slept in them if I had let him.

The harvest moon appeared last Thursday and it was a beautiful sight. I took this shot from the garden overlooking the cotton field. I'm ready for some cool nights and days and the changing of the leaves, but especially sitting around the fire pit with my family eating marshmallows!

Time to pull out the Halloween decorations and I didn't realize how many treaures we have accumulated until they emerged from their hiding places. M-i-l made this cute pumpkin years ago for us and it lights up. AnnaBelle has lifted the top off of it at least a hundred times. Shaky, shaky, shaky.......meyhem is everywhere.

My beanbag pumpkin sat there for about.......5 minutes before she swiped him up and toted him around for the day. Notice the chocolate face courtesy of a Quaker Oats Chocolate bar.

Ah yes, my beautiful blue-eyed son lost his first tooth Saturday morning! His Daddy plucked it out after he loosened it most of the day before at school. This is a pic of us on the tall ferris wheel at the State Fair of Virginia. We spent a wonderful fun-filled day there the past Saturday. It was hot but the rides were COOL! Nathan was tall enough to ride a majority of them and he did. I ate my first fried oreos and it won't be the last time. They were out of this world delicious!

What is better than money from the Tooth Fairy? How about a picture of her caught in the act.

You will love this cute "FREE" Tooth Fairy keepsake photo.
