So You Just Roll On With It.....
It's mornings like these where I am extremely grateful for the meds I have on hand to combat nausea. One of the complications of pancreatitis is nausea and it can strike at any time without warning. Today is one of those days. So I take it easy and restrict my diet to just liquids and this too shall pass. I can remember days not so long ago when nausea was an everyday occurence. That along with a gnawing pain in the upper abdomen are too much to handle and it's off to the hospital for a week's visit. But since my beaten pancreas has stopped producing enzymes I either get pain or nausea, hardly ever both at the same time as before. So that is probably the only good thing to come of it.We have our first tee-ball game this Saturday in Sedley. I think Nathan is more excited to dress up in a uniform than he is wanting to play the game. Coaching this age has really taught me patience I didn't think I had. I am so used to coaching middle and high schoolers, but with this group I feel like I am constantly teaching them to pay attention to what is going on. It's probably going to be the longest hour and fifteen minutes of my life Saturday. :)
