Remembering You

4 years ago a beautiful angel entered heaven. Wow....some days it seems like forever and then I head to the wardrobe that holds some of your clothes and I breathe them in. Then it feels like yesterday when you left us.

But you are near everyday. I see you in his eyes and he remembers your beautiful smile and the tickles you gave him when he was a toddler.

And I see you in nature. You show me such beauty this way especially in the spring when everything is refreshed and renewed.

I know you are looking down on these 2 and adoring what you see. I truly understand what you meant when you said to enjoy the little things because they create the big picture. These little guys are bringing me so much happiness that my heart smiles. It's bittersweet to not have you here beside me to offer me guidance, but I feel you guiding me in subtle ways and nature along with my little family will continue to help me heal.
