Anticipation....It's Making Me Wait!
We had another snowfall during the past week that started Nathan's Christmas break 2 days early. I caught him heading to the hill to sled in this outfit. Doesn't he look just like a little elf whose lost his toy bag? I absolutely LOVE this picture and can't wait to put it in a frame.
It looks like a white Christmas will occur this year. With the temps for the coming week only reaching the 40's on some days, snow will still be on the ground. There is also a chance of snow Christmas Eve.
They look forward to this as soon as the snow falls and could do it all day long. I rode for a little while and had a blast!
This is a typical evening cooking dinner at Woodland. Chef George whips us up so many good meals each and every day. There is an abundance of activity going on in this pic. What you can barely see to the bottom right is Miss AnnaBelle's rumpus plopped down on the chair next to the sink washing her play dishes. Nathan is entertaining everyone with a mask (notice the spurs on the boots-at must!) George is gabbing with Lord knows who and Miss Ellie is stretched out on the floor asleep. And me? The one behind the camera and the person who attempts to organize this gang, and I love every minute of it! ♥♥♥♥
Nathan and his Daddy took a trot through the woods this afternoon and spotted 4 gobblers. His anticipation for Santa's arrival is making him bounce off the walls. I was glad he was able to get out and roam through the woods for a couple of hours. It must have worked because he wanted to take a nap. We will definitely do the same thing Christmas Eve!
