Sickness is Gone

Everyone is feeling better and i was lucky enough (knock on wood) to not catch any of it. The Dove Hunt this past Saturday for the kids turned into a skeet shooting event, a bird wasn't even shot at! Everyone had a great time playing on the golf cart and 4-wheelers. Nathan made some new friends and amazingly never tired out.

AnnaBelle is cutting bottom teeth and has been a little cranky over the past few days. Will be glad when they finally break through.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow These Earaches and Colds Will Leave

This beautiful bow greeted me yesterday afternoon when a rogue shower moved through the area quickly. Nathan went to the dr yesterday and both ears are inflamed, he also has a sore throat, runny nose and a temp of 101 that is stubbornly coming down. It's going to make the rounds because AnnaBelle started sneezing yesterday, too and started to clog up during the night. This is her first official cold and so far with the two teeth she is cutting on the bottom of her mouth, she is being a trooper. Just Jorge and I left to catch it, and with the way my luck is running i'll probably take it to NY on Tuesday!

Tropical Storm Hanna Was A Blowout, Thank Goodness!

Jorge cooked a wonderful pot of vegetable beef soup that we have enjoyed all day. I took this pic early this morning on my cell. They were both in a playful mood with Nathan jumping around acting silly and making AnnaBelle laugh out loud continuously. She certainly loves to watch her brother perform. The storm did give us over 6 inches of rain that we desperately needed. It didn't even puddle in the yard, the ground completely soaked it up.

First Day of Preschool

Nathan started Preschool today and he was so excited to leave this morning. I love the enthusiasm he has to experience new things. He made some new friends and found out he had a friend, Carlos, already in his class. When i picked him up his first words after locating me were, "Hi Momma, I pee peed!" How proud i was, seriously!
