Christmas 2008

I was so excited for Nathan and AnnaBelle that i was truly glad to see that my little girl got most of us up early at 4:30. We stayed upstairs until the boys awoke. Nathan's feet never touched the steps as he slid down the bannister. He walked into the music room and whispered WOW!
He got the 4-wheeler he wanted so bad and lots of transformers, batman and spiderman stuff. AnnaBelle was more excited watching her older brother's excitement. Once we opened her stuff and set it down in front of her she didn't know what to play with first but her smile was priceless once she started playing.
The bottom pic is of shot of Nathan's loot the night before. AnnaBelle poses with some of her stuff in the middle and at the top, both of them dragged a few of their things out of the music room and into the living room to play.

Lunch With Santa

I was really hoping that this would be the year Nathan would finally sit on Santa's lap. When we arrived he greeted everyone in the place and even introduced his Grandmother, sister and I to the family sitting at the table next to us. When the line formed for pictures with Santa Nathan started crying and covered his head with his trusty snowman blanket, pleading with me to not make him do it. I didn't push it, heck AnnaBelle was more than willing to sit on his lap. So Nathan sat at the table and watched thinking how was he going to tell Santa about the 4-wheeler he wanted so bad for Christmas.

When i returned to the table he asked me if we could write Santa a letter to let him know what he wanted. I told him that was a great idea, so off he went into the crowd, avoiding Santa like the plague. He did enjoy getting his face painted, though.....Oh well there is always next year!!!
